This book, published in French in 2018 just after the death of its author, is now available in English.
144 pages, more than 200 stitches and patterns all clearly explained to create refined, elegant, light traditional or contemporary works.
Openwork embroidery technique without cut or pulled thread – Nothing is cut, nothing is removed. This technique makes it possible to obtain openings by simply tightening the threads of the fabric.
This embroidery took off in 18th century Europe and more particularly in Saxony in the region of Dresden. It is a foundation of so-called Dresden embroidery and Schwalm embroidery (Germany).

The content of this site is free and is not damaged by un-welcomed publicity. I do this work with love and passion but it requires a lot of time. I would like to continue to offer a wider market to our artists, to show how embroidery is a wonderful art. But I do need a little bit of help. If you feel like it, you can participate with a little donation to help me continue. I will be so grateful! Thank you! Claire
